Protester Spouts "9/11 Truth"
A protestor on Friday, March 16, 2007, outside the offices of US Congressman Joe Knollenberg (9th district, Michigan, Republican) in Farmington Hills, MI, spouts off his views on why he is part of an anti-war protest. Terry Pell is the President of the Center for Individual Rights, instrumental in helping litigate the admissions lawsuits against the University of Michigan from 1997 to 2003. With Plaintiff Michigan residents Jennifer Gratz, Patrick Hamacher, and Barbara Grutter, CIR and Pell's work resulted in the "split" US Supreme Court ruling in 2003. Most recently, CIR has worked to successfully defend Michigan's November 2006 passage of Proposal 2, ending race and gender preferential types of "affirmative action" in certain state government activities. This activity will continue at least through the end of 2007.
