Available Services

The following services are available. A variety of references can be provided upon request.

Examples of recent work. Biography and resumé.

Traditional campaign consulting at all levels, focusing on conservative or moderate clients.

Petition-management and signature gathering.

Experience with campaign finance reporting and compliance, personally responsible for handling over $1 million in receipts. Successful defense of a statewide ballot initiative against complaints and successful offense against opposing statewide initiative uncovering more than $100,000 in under-reporting.

Writing press releases, designing content and layout for literature such as fundraisers, brochures, and fact sheets.

Public speaking on issues and consulting with public speakers on issue management and presentation. Experience with academic and non-academic panels, public debates, forums, and presentations, and related event planning.

Fundraising consulting, primarily in development and preparatory research, and list-contact management. Experience in "development" research dates back to 1992.

Outreach experience. Managing pre-existing contacts and developing new ones through grassroots efforts.

Business consulting and marketing. Clients have included attorneys, real-estate agents, a motivational speaker, an award-winning rock-n-roll band, and others.

Investigative research, backgrounding, political issue analysis, and policy consulting (internet, technology, public policy, or economic issues). Any investigative work will entail strictly legal methods. Includes document analysis, use of computer databases, use of state law to obtain government records, and use of archives.

Use and practical understanding of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Open Meetings Act, with experience and four legal victories in the field.

Statistical consulting. Includes analysis of polling data and other uses of statistical techniques in both business and politics. Statistical work in two areas - academic analysis and investigative reporting - has been recognized by national policy "think tanks" and a number of national commentators. Statistics are useless if the wrong questions are asked or answered!

Writing, editing, proposal creation, and document analysis of any kind. HTML authoring, web-content creation, layout, and other internet related services. Complete service available on a dedicated server. Long-time experience with blogs (since 1997) and bulletin board technology.

Graphic design, artwork, and similar services.

Photography. Digital and traditional. Building, landscape, and human subjects.  In digital and print formats. Clients have included real-estate agents and work used in various artistic graphic design projects, including print advertisements. Skilled in use of Photoshop (TM) and other layout tools.

Any other service reasonably related to my expertise and that we agree upon.

Contact me for a quote on specific projects. Initial consultation is free unless it requires travel or special preparations. All projects will be evaluated prior to acceptance for possible conflicts of interest with other loyalties. No project will be accepted if I judge there to be such a conflict, unless I can obtain appropriate waivers for such a conflict.
