Harry Stein of Manhattan Institute on MCRI

Harry Stein of the venerable Manhattan Institute weighs in here on the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative (MCRI) and its opponents, including By Any Means Necessary. He is also particularly harsh on the Michigan and national Republican Party for their "Preemptive Surrender," the title of the piece he opines in the City Journal, the Institute's primary regular publication. Stein also points out the rare principled politician, in referencing Jerry Zandstra. It's a good piece, and I'd do it injustice if I quoted it.
